The Secretary of State announced the news June 15, 2018

TO: All County Clerks/Registrars of Voters  and Proponents

RE: Initiative: #1837 Related to Rent  Control – Eligibility for Ballot

The Secretary of State was to certify the initiative June/28 as qualified for the November 6, 2018, General Election ballot, unless withdrawn by the proponent(s) prior to certification pursuant to Elections Code section 9604(b).

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at (916) 695-1571.

Therefore, pursuant to Elections Code section 9033, the initiative measure is eligible for the November 6, 2018, General Election ballot and all further signature verification can be terminated.
