Facing Race: A National Virtual Conference is presented by Race Forward, a national non-profit working to advance racial justice in our policies, institutions, and culture. A unique collaborative space for racial justice movement making, Facing Race is the largest multiracial, inter-generational gathering for organizers, educators, creatives, and other leaders.

For over 15 years, Race Forward has brought you an incredible conference experience that has hosted over 4,000 attendees to convene, organize and mobilize for a more equitable future. Previous Facing Race National Conferences have been held in Atlanta, Baltimore, Berkeley, Chicago, Dallas, Oakland, New York, and Detroit.

This year’s Facing Race conference will be a virtual event. The event dates have been moved to November 10 – 12, 2020. The online conference will offer unprecedented access to information, tools, and resources on racial equity. The conference is being re-imagined to offer greater accessibility allowing more people than ever before to participate and engage in deep discussions, presentations, and organizing efforts. Keynote speaker is Rev. Dr. William J. Barber II, a founder of Moral Mondays in North Carolina and of the national Poor Peoples Campaign.

Previous Facing Race conferences have hosted over 4,000 attendees from all over the world. By going virtual, the global reach and impact of the conference is limitless. Join us by registering today: https://facingrace.raceforward.org/register (Fees begin at $75 for students.)
