Mark Farjeon

Marc was born in New York City on May 8, 1954 and died on
Wednesday, September 17, 2008.
He and his family moved to L.A. in 1959 and lived in Hollywood,
Gardena, Harbor
City and Lomita. Later he moved to Culver City.
As a young person his interests were
electronics, taking and developing photographs, fishing and
cartoons...especially Superman. In high school he became a member of the film
projection crew. He seemed to be able to fix any electronic appliance around
the house at a very young age. A common hang-out place through his younger
years was Buff's Electronics, mostly to have lengthy conversations with the
owner of the store. He graduated from Narbonne
High School in Harbor City
in 1972. After high school he worked at a few electronics companies and later
became a computer programmer. He contracted with a subsidiary of Warner
Brothers for approximately 15 years. He was a Conscientious Objector when he
was called by the draft for the Vietnam War. His real passion became the peace
movement, and any causes that stand for human rights. He was seen often with
his camera in hand at protests against the war. His photography was also very
important to him, taking numerous photos of significant and wonderful people in
the L.A. area.
His father was a pianist/organist/composer
who passed away on January 12, 2008 at 92 years. He is survived by his
wonderfully caring mother, Trudi who lives in L.A., and a sister, Eleanor, who lives in Boulder, Colorado.
His family would like to thank all of Marc's wonderful friends for their
heart-felt thoughts during this difficult time.
